Return Policy
Please understand that no industry has a 0% failure rate in their products.
We realize this, and our Customers should too. You deserve a working product in all
cases. Our Warranty Policies have been written in what we believe is a very fair
manner. Below, please find our responsibility to you, as your technology
provider.
Policy Regarding Peripherals
All Products may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of the Invoice Date,
with few exceptions. Exceptions are: CPUs, Memory (including, but not limited to
+++++
Flash, SDRAM/DDR/RDRAM
etc.). Open-box Printers, Scanners, Monitors, Digital Cameras and
Projectors are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty only (DOA cases
included). You will find that most manufacturer's return policies welcome
the Customer, and in some cases offer Cross-Shipping options, or Advanced
Exchange!
Policy Regarding Discontinued, Refurbished or
Clearance Items
At times, fticomputer.com will offer specially priced items that have become
discontinued by the manufacturer, are refurbished, or are over-stocked. Those items
will be
clearly marked as discontinued, refurbished or clearance, and are not eligible for
return
or exchange. Any remaining Warranty that may or may not exist with the
original Manufacturer passes to you upon purchase.
RMA Procedure Regarding All Products
Our RMA Procedure aims to be the most painless and fair process amongst our
competition. You deserve a working product. We will work hard to
fulfill our responsibilities to you, by replacing or repairing any item that
falls under our Warranty guidelines.
All exchanges and returns
REQUIRE a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
number. This can be issued either over the phone by speaking to a Technical
Support Representative, or electronically by using our Online RMA Process.
Exchanges and returns CANNOT be accepted or processed without one.
An RMA for Refund must be requested within 30 days of the Original Invoice Date.
Thereafter, all sales are final. Please note that warranty periods and services vary
by manufacturer and product.
For Exchange Service:
- All items must be returned in "Like-New" condition in the
Original packaging.
- Do NOT include any accessories, manuals,
drivers etc., as we cannot return them to you.
- A copy or the
original Invoice from the order must be included and the RMA number must be
legibly written on the outside of the shipping box(es).
- Your shipment must be received within 14-Days of the RMA
Issue Date. RMA Numbers are automatically Voided after 14-Days. We
encourage the use of a Trackable Carrier (i.e. UPS/Fedex) when returning
products, as fticomputer.com is not responsible for any loss or damage during
shipping. Any products found to have been damaged during shipping will
be quarantined, and the customer will be informed by telephone. The
Customer must then file a Damage Claim with the Carrier. We will provide
any information required by the Carrier to complete the process.
- All items sent back for Exchange are
thoroughly tested. Any item that is found to be in working order will be
subject to a $15.00 Testing Fee. For this reason, we encourage you to
give our Technicians a call. They work with our products every day and
can provide valuable insight.
- In most cases, fticomputer.com will ship
the exchanged product within 10-14 business days. Please be aware that
you may experience a delay in receiving your product based on stock
availability. If product is available, your replacement order will be
processed within 10-14 business days after the receipt of your defective
product. You will receive e-mail notification upon RMA status changes;
or you may login to your account for further information.
- When exchanging an item, you will be
contacted by e-mail with a Tracking Number for your shipment, after fticomputer.com
services and ships the item back to you.
- All
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
For Return Service:
- All items must be returned in "Like-New" condition in the
Original packaging. Your shipment must include the entire product(s) as
they were received. To clarify: you must include all manuals, CDs,
cables, and any other component or part not listed here that shipped with the
product.
- Incomplete products will be subject to a 15%
Restocking fee.
- All refunds for credit will be issued only to the
original method of payment.
- fticomputer.com does not offer "Store
Credit".
- Allow 7-10 business days from when
fticomputer.com receives your shipment for transaction to appear on your
statement.
Please Note
fticomputer.com reserves the right to deem merchandise as unacceptable for
return if found to be damaged (including but NOT limited to burned/chipped/overclocked
CPUs, or
other ICs), mishandled or improperly installed/utilized. All return
product condition-related assessments are made by our RMA Technicians; and are
final.
